World Mental Health Day 2025

10 October 2025

Today is World Mental Health Day!

At Cognition, our employees are our top priority. We support their mental health by fostering a culture where wellbeing is openly discussed and prioritised alongside physical safety. We implement annual mental health awareness training for all employees, ensuring staff can recognise signs of stress or depression and know how to access help. We provide confidential support services, such as mental health first aiders and managers. We encourage a healthy work–life balance, reduce excessive working hours, and promote open communication across all levels of the workforce to help break down stigma.

By embedding mental health support into daily site operations and safety briefings, the industry can create a more supportive and resilient workforce.

For this year’s World Mental Health Day, we held Toolbox Talks across our sites in which we discussed the resources we have internally to support our employee’s mental health. We also shared the ‘Mind’ campaign for World Mental Health Day, which emphasises the importance of caring for your mental health everyday, not just today. Mind’s campaign poster was printed out and displayed around the welfare facilities on sites to increase the visibility of this compelling campaign.
