A Hard-Fought Race Weekend at Brands Hatch…

Cognition is a proud sponsor of the WSR team in The British Touring Car Championships (BTCC) 2026. The WSR team’s very talented drivers – Charles Rainford and Daryl De Leon – recently competed in the second race weekend of the BTCC season at Brands Hatch.

In the three races that took place…

Charles ranked 8th, DNF, and 13th, landing him at 8th in the Drivers’ Standings.
Daryl placed 11th, 10th, and 4th respectively, climbing to 9th place in the Drivers’ Standings.

This weekend was more challenging than the first, with some set back along the way, but our drivers fought hard to overcome them. The WSR team is now sitting at a comfortable 4th out of 9 in the overall championship.

The next race weekend will be at Snetterton. We look to seeing how the next round of high-stakes, high-speed racing unfolds!
